One Man and his Rake

Hello, my name is Chris Howarth, otherwise known as One Man And His Rake.

I am a sand artist located in Cornwall, UK. I have always had a keen interest in drawing and art in general. I became interested in the ephemeral art form, after watching a video showing the sea washing away a sand drawing. For me, this is a major part of my work. I love watching the sea reclaim my art as it washes its way up the beach. Sometimes it can take numerous waves to finally swallow the piece, but other times it can be taken with one.
